1) What this page covers

This page explains how we use cookies and similar technologies and how you can control your preferences. It complements our Privacy Policy and applies to visitors from the U.S. and other regions (including EEA/UK under GDPR).

2) Your choices (consent & opt-out)

  • On your first visit, we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies.

  • You can accept all, reject all non-essential, or customize categories anytime via the “Privacy Preferences” link in our footer.

  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required (e.g., California, some U.S. states).

3) Cookie categories

Strictly Necessary (always active)
Required for core site functions (security, network management, shopping cart, checkout). These do not require consent. Disabling via browser may break the site.

Functional
Enhances features (remembering preferences, saved items, improved support). If disabled, some features may not work as intended.

Analytics & Performance
Helps us understand usage to improve the site (e.g., page views, events, crash reports). Data is aggregated or pseudonymous where possible.

Advertising & Marketing
Used to deliver and measure ads, build audiences, and limit ad frequency. May involve third-party partners setting/reading identifiers across sites.

4) Do Not Sell or Share / Limit Use (CPRA, other U.S. state laws)

For California and similar U.S. state privacy laws: we may “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt-out at any time through:

  • Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (footer link or preferences panel), and

  • Respect of GPC signals on supported browsers.
For sensitive personal information, we limit use to permitted purposes and offer choices where required.

5) Manage your preferences

Use the controls below (or the footer link) to change your settings at any time. Your choices are stored in a first-party cookie for up to 12 months, after which we will re-prompt.

  • Accept all non-essential cookies

  • Reject all non-essential cookies

  • Customize by category (toggles)

6) Third-party partners

Depending on your selections, third parties may set cookies or similar identifiers. We contractually require appropriate safeguards. See the Cookie Table below for examples.

7) Retention

  • Cookie lifetime varies by purpose and provider (see table).

  • Preference cookies generally last up to 12 months (then we’ll re-ask).

  • Analytics/advertising cookies typically last 3–13 months, depending on the provider.

8) Browser & device controls

You can also manage cookies via your browser/device settings (e.g., block, delete). Doing so may affect site functionality. If you block all cookies, some pages may not load or checkout may fail.

9) Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.

10) Contact

For questions or to exercise privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy, contact info@taentechnology.com.
